Pass Collection
- How do I collect my 2024 Epic Australia Pass?

Epic Australia Pass lift access has been loaded directly into your online account, and can be accessed in 2024 using your existing Mountain Access Card/s.
If you selected a new Mountain Access Card with your Epic Australia Pass purchase, a QR code has been loaded into your account and can be located by signing in here and selecting ‘Mountain Access Cards'. Simply scan your QR Code at one of our pickup machines in resort and your card(s) will be printed. For more information on machine location, please click here.
- Do I need to collect a new card to use my 2024 Epic Australia Pass in the Northern Hemisphere?

Preparing your Account
If you have previously had an Epic Australia Pass that you have used in the Northern Hemisphere, you can sign in to your account here and complete Release of Liability documentation in preparation for your visit.
If this is your first time travelling with your Epic Australia Pass, please reach out to the Epic Australia Pass team here to complete your account set up and ensure that your Pass has been activated for use.
Collecting your Pass
As the RFID technology used in our Australian resorts is different from the technology used in the Northern Hemisphere resorts, you will need to collect a new Mountain Access Card on arrival in the Northern Hemisphere resort that you are visiting.

With your 2024 Epic Australia Pass you will enjoy unlimited and unrestricted lift access in Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham for the 2024 season, followed by access to world class resorts across North America, Japan and Europe for the 2024/25 Northern Hemisphere season.

- What are the North American Restricted Peak Dates for the 2024/25 season?

Lift access is restricted during the below periods at the following North American resorts: Whistler Blackcomb, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and Stowe.

- How do I access my 2024 Epic Australia Pass benefits?

- Online Purchases: Epic Australia Pass discounts for lessons and rentals are automatically applied to Pass holder purchases when completing your purchase online. Your discount will display at the Review Order step of the checkout process by showing the full product total, the Epic Australia Pass benefit, and the amount due. For more information on Bring a Mate invitations, please click here.
- In Resort Purchases: Epic Australia Pass discounts for food, beverage and retail purchases are available in resort at participating outlets. To apply your discount simply present your Mountain Access Card at a point of sale.
Northern Hemisphere
- Epic Australia Pass holder discounts in Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts in North America are automatically applied when signed in and completing your purchase in the online shop for the Resort that you will be visiting.

Epic Coverage
- What is Epic Coverage?

Epic Coverage is included with every 2024 Epic Australia Pass and helps you explore the mountains you love with more peace of mind. Under Epic Coverage, you may be eligible to receive a full or prorated refund of your 2024 Epic Australia Pass for certain qualifying Personal Refund Events including, job loss, injury, illness, and more. Refunds are subject to eligibility and are based on your Epic Coverage elections and the Epic Coverage Terms and Conditions.
- How do I submit an Epic Coverage cancellation request?

If you are impacted by a qualifying Personal Refund Event, you can submit a cancellation request online by clicking here.
For qualifying Personal Refund Events:
- Documentation is required to substantiate your cancellation request. Documentation requirements are specific to each Personal Refund Event and must be submitted at the time of completing your online form. Please click here for more details.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted within 30 days of the Personal Refund Event arising.
Pass Types
- Is there an Australian Epic Military Pass option?

Although there is no Epic Australia Military Pass, guests can purchase the Epic Military Pass which is on sale through the North American Epic Pass website.
- The 23/24 Military Epic Pass includes lift access in the 2024 Australian winter season and went off sale on Sunday 3 December 2023.
- The 24/25 Military Epic Pass includes lift access in the 2025 Australian winter season and is now on sale. For more information and to complete your purchase, click here.
As the Epic Military Pass is sold and administered by the U.S. Epic Pass team via www.epicpass.com, all communication regarding purchase support should be directed to that team via seasonpass@vailresorts.com Unfortunately, the Epic Australia Pass team does not have access to the US sales system and is unable to assist in the purchase process.
- How do I activate my 23/24 US Epic Pass or Epic Military Pass for use in the 2024 Australian winter?

Before your first visit to our resorts for the 2024 Australian winter season, you will need to activate your Pass by completing the following steps:
To sign your Release of Liability:

- Select "Release of Liability"
- Read and sign
To upload a photo to your account:
- Click here to sign in to your account
- Select “Upload a new photo”
All Epic Military Pass lift access has been loaded directly into your Australian online account, and can be accessed in 2024 using your existing Mountain Access Card/s.
