Bogong High Plains Road between Mt Beauty and Falls Creek has been reopened. We look forward to welcoming you all back to the mountain this winter!

With over 450 hectares of rideable terrain, Falls Creek is Victoria’s largest alpine resort. Offering progression perfect terrain, including Australia’s longest green run, as well as extensive side and backcountry, and some of the country’s most popular terrain parks, there is truly something for everyone at Falls Creek.

During winter, the Falls Creek village transforms into a ski-in, ski-out winter wonderland, where you can ride straight from your door to lift in the morning, and all trails will lead you home at the end of the day. You’ll also be spoilt for choice with 37 places to eat and drink spread throughout the European style village with accommodation peppered between bars, restaurants and pubs.

TWIST AND TURN DOWN AUSTALIA’S LONGEST GREEN RUN - DAY AND NIGHT

A favourite for the whole family, Wombats Ramble caters to skiers and snowboarders of all abilities inviting them to share the experience of sliding down Australia’s longest green run together. On Wednesday and Saturday evenings, the entire run lights up after dark, allowing skiing and snowboarding adventures to continue after the sun goes down.

WINE & DINE AT THE TOP

While the kids enjoy Night Skiing on Wombat’s Ramble, parents can wine and dine at the top of the mountain at the Cloud 9 restaurant. Located at the top of Halley’s Chairlift (Just near the start of Wombat’s Ramble) Cloud 9 offer a world-class on-snow food experience, creating a memorable night for all patrons. Enjoy wood-fired pizza, pasta, carvery, gourmet sandwiches amazing coffee and a fully stocked bar.

GETTING TO FALLS CREEK

Falls Creek is closer than you think and with a variety of transport options, there’s no excuse not to book your next snow holiday!

The mountain is 4.5 hours from Melbourne, an easy day's drive from Sydney and under 2 hours in the car from Albury. Winter access to Falls Creek is via the nearby township of Mount Beauty and the beautiful Kiewa Valley. Guests from the Ovens Valley also have excellent access and Falls Creek is just over an hour from Bright. For a touch of luxury, exclusive helicopters tours can be organised to transport guests from a variety of locations, including Perisher and Hotham.
