Personal Refund Event:
A qualifying Personal Refund Event prevents you from using your Pass during the applicable Core Season subject to the conditions and eligibility set out under each specific qualifying event.

Resort Closure Event:
A resort is deemed to be closed under this policy if no lifts are operating at the Resort because of a Resort Closure Event. Your eligibility for a refund under Epic Coverage because of a Resort Closure Event depends on the elections you made for your Pass.

When a resort closure occurs that may trigger your eligibility for a refund under Epic Coverage, Vail Resorts will post a notice of qualifying resort closures at www.epicaustraliapass.com.au

AT THIS TIME, NO QUALIFYING RESORT CLOSURE EVENTS HAVE OCCURRED FOR THE
2023 AUSTRALIAN CORE SEASON (1 JULY 2023 THROUGH 10 SEPTEMBER 2023)

Cancellation Request: PERSONAL REFUND EVENT

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund of your pass under Epic Coverage in the event that you are unable to use your pass during the applicable Core Season (1 July 2023 – 10 September 2023) because of a Personal Refund Event.

To be eligible for a refund under Epic Coverage, you must submit your request for a refund within thirty (30) days of when the Personal Refund Event arises

QUALIFYING PERSONAL REFUND EVENT:

You are unable to use your Pass during the applicable Core Season because the municipality, county, state, province or country in which your Permanent Residence is located is subject to a mandatory governmental "stay-at-home" or "shelter-in-place" order lasting thirty (30) or more cumulative days, at least seven (7) days of which are during the Core Season.

Your "Permanent Residence" refers to your fixed, permanent and principal home for legal and tax purposes
Refund requests will only be assessed once the Stay-at-Home orders have reached 30 cumulative days
