What lift access is included with the 2022 Epic Australia Pass?

The 2022 Epic Australia Pass provides access to Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham for the 2022 Australian snow season, plus access to world-class terrain for the 2022/23 Northern Hemisphere snow season.

What are North American peak restriction dates for the 2022/23 season?

Lift access is restricted during the below periods at the following North American resorts: Whistler Blackcomb, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and Stowe.

Unlimited Skitube Add-On

Buy the Epic Australia Pass Unlimited Skitube add-on to get access to unlimited Skitube travel throughout the season, it’s the best way to travel to the slopes!

Skitube is the safest and most convenient way to travel to Perisher. Enjoy plenty of free parking at Bullocks Flat, save the $190 Kosciuszko National Park Annual Pass fee and save on fuel.

How will I collect my 2022 Epic Australia Pass?

If you have purchased an Epic Australia Pass for the first time, we will be mailing your Mountain Access Card to the mailing address listed in your account in May 2022. In preparation for the start of the winter season, we recommend that you sign in here to check your mailing address and upload a photo to your profile.

If you do not receive your Mountain Access Card prior to your trip, you can collect your card in resort at one of our pass pick up machines by scanning the QR code located on your order confirmation email or in your account under “Mountain Access Cards”, at one of our pick up machines and your card(s) will be printed.

If you are an existing Epic Australia Pass holder you can collect your card in resort at one of our pass pick up machines. Simply scan the QR code located on your order confirmation email, or in your account under “Mountain Access Cards”, at one of our  machines and your card(s) will be printed.

Alternatively, if you already have an Epic Australia Pass card, Perisher card, Falls Creek or Hotham Snow Pass card attached to the profile used to purchase your 2022 Epic Australia Pass, access will be automatically loaded onto your card once final payment has been received and a photo has been loaded to your profile. You can check your details here. 

Please note: all pass holders will be provided with 1 complimentary card per season. Additional replacement cards cost $5.

Are reservations required with my Epic Australia Pass in 2022?

We do not anticipate 2022 Epic Australia Pass holders will need to make reservations to ski or ride at Perisher, Falls Creek or Hotham this season. However, in the event the resorts need to manage capacity to allow for physical distancing, Vail Resorts may manage access through a reservation system that prioritises pass holders.

How do I access my Epic Australia Pass benefits in 2022?

Epic Australia Pass benefits are automatically available once you have purchased your 2022 Epic Australia Pass, and the relevant products are available for purchase online – this is anticipated to be around early May 2022

Purchase and Payment:

I paid $49 upfront, when do I pay the rest?

The final balance payment will be charged on or about 3 May 2022 on the same credit card used for the upfront payment. The $49 upfront payment, as well as the balance, is non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-transferable.


According to the Terms and Conditions of the 2022 Epic Australia Pass, by paying the initial payment of $49 you acknowledge that you understand you are committing to buy the Epic Australia Pass for the 2022 Australian winter season and the 2022/23 Northern Hemisphere winter season, and that the credit card you provided is authorised for payment of the remaining balance of your purchase on or about 3 May 2022.

Except as provided under the Australian Consumer Law or Epic Coverage - Australia refund policy, in our Terms and Conditions, the Epic Australia Pass is a non-cancellable, non-refundable purchase. The Epic Australia Pass (or amount paid for the pass) cannot be transferred or deferred to a future season.

Can I make my final balance payment before the payment deadline?

To complete your final balance payment prior to the 3 May deadline, please follow these steps:

  • Click here to sign into your Epic Australia Pass account
  • Select Payment Plans and then View
  • Select the order date that corresponds with your initial purchase
  • Select the passholder/s that you wish to complete payment for and then click Pay Now
How do I update my credit card details for the final balance payment?

To update your credit card details prior to the 3 May payment date, please follow these steps:

  • Select Payment Detail
  • Select Update Credit Card

Epic Coverage is included with every 2022 Epic Australia Pass and helps you explore the mountains you love with more peace of mindUnder Epic Coverage, you may be eligible to receive a full or prorated refund of your 2022 Epic Australia Pass for certain qualifying events including, job loss and injury, as well as some COVID-19 related scenarios.

How do I submit a refund request?

We hope you get the most out of your pass purchase, but in the unfortunate event that a qualifying refund event occurs, we have a dedicated team set up to assist you.

Pass Types

Is there a senior season pass option?

The Senior Epic Australia Pass offers over 65s a discounted price with all the Epic benefits at Perisher, Falls Creek, Hotham and the best of U.S, Canada and Japan resorts.

Over 70s looking for access to Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham only can purchase an over 70s 2022 season pass directly through the Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham websites when the products become available online – this is anticipated to be around late April/early May 2022.

Please note: The Over 70s season pass is not part of the Epic Australia Pass program, does not include Epic Coverage and only provides access to Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham.

Is there a student season pass option?

Yes. The Student Epic Australia Pass is available to guests aged 5 to 18 years old as at 11 June 2022. For secondary school students aged 16-18 years, a letter of enrolment may be required before the pass will be activated for use. 

Please note, tertiary education students are not eligible for the student pass and will need to purchase the adult pass product.

Is there an Australian Military Epic Pass option?

The 2022-23 Military Epic Pass is on sale now and provides incredible value for service members and their families to enjoy skiing at the Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.

The 22/23 Military Epic Pass provides lift access to the 2023 Australian winter season and 22/23 Northern Hemisphere winter season.

As the Military Epic Pass is sold and administered by the U.S. Epic Pass team via, all communication regarding purchase and verification should be directed to that team via Unfortunately, the Epic Australia Pass team does not have access to the US sales system and is unable to assist in the purchase process.
