A combination of more than 120cm of natural snowfall and some of the best early-November snowmaking conditions in years have allowed both Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek Resort to open early for the season! This will see the resorts open with top-to-bottom skiing and most vertical in Colorado!

“This is the first time we’ve been able to open both resorts early in more than 10 years. We owe a big thank you to our mountain operations teams for their hard work in making this possible for our loyal guests and season pass holders.” said Doug Lovell, Vail chief operating officer.
Beginning on Wednesday skiers and boarders will have access to the following lifts and more than 500 acres of skiable terrain on Vail Mountain while over at Beaver Creek guests will be treated to more than 220 acres!

Last week saw Breckenridge & Keystone open with awesome early season conditions on offer at both resorts! Colorado is off to a cracking start to the season with over a metre of snowfall already, these resorts are gearing up for a massive winter! With the best early snow in years and more on the way it going to be a winter to remember in Colorado!
